Entry Requirements

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM); orGeneral Certificate of Education Ordinary (“O”) levels5 Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics) and 1 additional subject.
ANDHigher School Certificate level or its equivalent:
Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)Minimum CGPA 3.00 including minimum B in Chemistry.
General Certificate of Education Advanced (“A”) levelsMinimum Grade 3B or 2A1C or 1A1B1C in Biology and Chemistry and Physics or Mathematic, including minimum B in Chemistry.
Matriculation from Local InstitutionsMinimum GPA 3.00 including a minimum B for Chemistry and provided the course is not less than 1 year. *with SPM
Foundation in Science (Medicine/Pharmacy)Minimum GPA 3.00 including a minimum B for Chemistry.
Foundation in Science from any HEI recognized by MQAMinimum CGPA 3.00 including a minimum B for Chemistry.
IB (International Baccalaureate)Minimum 30 points including at least grade 4 in Chemistry (highest level)
Diploma in PharmacyMinimum CGPA: 3.50
Diploma in Science (Chemistry or Biology or Physic) from any HEI recognized by MQA and MOHEMinimum CGPA: 3.75 including minimum B for Chemistry.
South Australian Matriculation (SAM)Aggregate 80% each in 3 science subjects in Chemistry, Biology; and Physics or Mathematics including a minimum B in Chemistry.
New Zealand BursaryAggregate 70% each in 3 science subjects in Chemistry and Biology; and Physics or Mathematics including a minimum B in Chemistry.
Canadian Pre-University (CPU)Minimum CGPA / Points 3.00
Degree in ScienceCGPA 2.75
Note: Bahasa Malaysia and English requirements as per approved by the MoE. To serve as a government servant, Bahasa Melayu and English are set by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA)

For International Students only:
– Minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent

Exit Requirements:All applicants shall have attained a minimum of BAND 3 in the MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ENGLIST TEST (MUET) or TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS 6.0 with a minimum band of 5.5 for Writing, Reading, Listening/Speaking (WRLS).

Malaysian applicants shall have also attained a CREDIT IN BAHASA MALAYSIA AND ENGLISH at SPM or its equivalent
